Cooking for a family, while making family time

4 Ingredient Peach Sangria

4 Ingredient Peach Sangria

Summer might be winding down but the warm weather sure isn’t. This EASY adult beverage is a delicious way to stay cool and is perfect for any end of summer parties or gatherings. Requiring only 4 ingredients and minutes to make it doesn’t get much easier than that.

1 bottle white wine
1 cup peach flavored vodka
1/2 cup peaches in peach juice
1 cup sprite

Pour all ingredients together in a pitcher, give a good stir and place in the refrigerator. Let it set overnight before enjoying. Serve over ice, keeps in the fridge for 72 hours.

I love a good sangria, they’re so easy to make and customize to your own taste preference. The first way to customize your sangria is by what kind of wine you choose to use as the base. If you prefer a sweet sangria use a sweeter wine, such as a Moscato. If you’re like me and want a less sweet sangria use a Pinot Grigio or Sauvignon Blanc. The reason I prefer a dryer white wine is that the peach vodka and sprite contain a good bit of sugar and make this sangria sweet enough on its own. If you’re looking to cut the sweetness down even more, use a dry white wine and substitute club soda for sprite. This way you’ll still get the bubbles from the carbonation but less sugar. Peaches not your thing? Swap your fruit choice. The vodka section has got more flavors than you can imagine, pick your favorite and pair it with fresh or canned fruit. I love to use peaches, especially at the end of summer when they are in season. However, in a pinch, the kids’ fruit cups in 100% juice work just as well. You won’t get any judgement here, nothing says you’ve got this Mom life down like using a kids’ juice box as a mixer after a hard day!
